WALLEYE SPINNER BLADES

Spinner blades for walleye from our large selection of sizes and colors for making walleye spinners. Choose from many styles including Colorado blades which are the most widely used style of blade. It spins the furthest out away from the fishing line. This gives it a great profile if it is coming straight towards a walleye. If you want a lesser view from the side use Indiana blades, which spin around your snell closer to the fishing line. Indiana blades are in the middle between Colorado's and willow leaf blades. The Indiana spins with less rise and has a better side profile for the walleye than a Colorado. Willow leaf blades spin the closest to the line and therefore if your line is coming straight at a walleye the fish will not see your rig that well. If the spinner rig is going by the walleye from the side, it will be easier to see. Willow blades also have a more natural shape to them. They actually look like a small minnow or baitfish. Dakota spinner blades have a cut out in the middle, they look like a "V". The theory is as the blade spins, walleye can see the lure beads better. Hatchets, Whiptails and other blades all have unique features. they create a difference in vibration, thumping, and water disruption, and are all worth a try.
